Links to Love

If you know me, you know I love a good article. From fashion, career, beauty, self-improvement, pop culture, etc. I try to cover all the basics and you’ve probably (more than once) have heard me start a conversation with, “So, I read this article”. I’ve been intrigued by print since I first picked up a Bop magazine (throwback) and advanced to Seventeen, Nylon, Cosmopolitan and more. As my generation has quickly shifted from print to online content, it has become even more accessible to keep up with news on the go with a swipe of a finger. Here are my top favorite sites that are a must follow now:

  1. Career: Create & Cultivate – This online platform, founded by Jaclyn Johnson is a one stop site for creative women and I am a huge fan girl of C&C. Their annual conference holds a#girlboss list of panelists from bloggers, creative directors and designers from Instagram, Cuyana, PopSugar and Nylon. For the ones who won’t be attending this year (like me), their blog is a great alternative and a must read for social media tricks, workplace tips and good reads for the digital space.
  2. DIY & Crafts: Brit + Co – After attending the Brit+ Co Re:Make Festival this past fall, my love for this SF based company flourished. If you’re into colorful spaces, DIY flower crowns, photo booths and basically all things creative, you’ve basically found your dreamland. Feel free to check out their awesome online classes from jewelry making to photography basics. If you want to learn a new skill or make something with your hands, check them out asap.
  3. Health & Wellness: The Chalkboard Mag – From the creators of Pressed Juicery, TCM is the “guide for living well”. Amazing healthy recipes, beauty regimes and past guest editors like Nicole Richie and Whitney Port are just a few reasons why this site rocks.
  4. Fashion: WhoWhatWear – For all things fashion, WhoWhatWear is where it’s at. Their “How To” page provides endless style tips and “Street Style” has become my go-to for trends and styling inspiration. If you’re just obsessed with them as much as I am, then you’re also a fan of their sister sites Byrdie for beauty and My Domaine for home. You can also check out their newest approach to health and wellness over at The Thirty.
  5. Travel: TheVenueReport – I recently found The Venue Report while researching venues for my friends wedding. After a few clicks, I was hooked and spent nearly what seemed like hours on their site. If you’re looking to travel somewhere new or find a place to throw an event, you’ll also spend all day finding a curated list of the coolest and trendiest hidden spots for any occasion.
